7 Kerajaan Islam Di Jawa Dan Sejarah Perkembangannya

Masuknya Islam ke Indonesia ternyata bukan hanya merubah doktrin dan pandangan masyarakat Jawa terhadap konsep ketuhanan yang mereka anut sebelumnya, melainkan juga merubah bermacam-macam hal lain termasuk dalam bidang politik. Perubahan di bidang politik yang dianut masyarakat Jawa sehabis masuknya Islam dibuktikan dengan terbentuknya beberapa kerajaan Islam semenjak kala ke 15, dengan Kesultanan Demak yang menjadi pelopornya. Berikut ini kami akan bahas beberapa kerajaan Islam di Jawa lainnya sebagai perhiasan wawasan untuk kita semua.

1. Kesultanan Demak (1500 - 1550)

Kesultanan Demak yaitu kerajaan Islam pertama dan terbesar di pesisir pantai utara Jawa. Kerajaan ini sebelumnya merupakan sebuah kadipaten dari kerajaan Majapahit. Setelah tiba dan masuknya imbas Islam serta dimulainya masa keruntuhan Majapahit, kadipaten ini kemudian berkembang menjadi sebagai basis penyebaran Islam di Nusantara. Salah satu bukti peninggalan sejarah Islam di Indonesia dari kerajaan ini yaitu Masjid Agung Demak. Masjid ini merupakan warisan peninggalan wali songo, para ulama penyebaran Islam di Jawa.

2. Kesultanan Banten (1524 - 1813)

Kerajaan Islam di Jawa yang selanjutnya berdiri di atas Tatar Pasundan. Kerajaan ini berjulukan Kesultanan Banten. Kerajaan ini berdiri sehabis kerajaan Demak mempeluas kekuasaannya ke pesisir barat Jawa. Maulana Hasanuddin (putra Sunan Gunung Jati) merupakan orang yang sangat berperan dalam penaklukan tersebut. Karena imbas kedatangan Belanda, kerajaan ini kemudian hanya bertahan sampai tahun 1813.

3. Kesultanan Cirebon (1552 - 1677)

Pada kala ke-15 dan 16 Masehi, kesultanan Cirebon yaitu kerajaan Islam yang sangat ternama di seluruh Asia. Dalam jalur perdagangan dan pelayaran antar pulau pada masa silam, kesultanan ini menempati posisi yang sangat strategis. Selain menjadi jembatan dan tempat persinggahan para pedagang dan pelayar yang hendak berlayar ke Timur dan ke Barat, kerajaan Islam di Jawa yang satu ini juga menjadi sentra pertemuan kebudayaan dari bermacam-macam daerah.

4. Kesultanan Pajang (1568 - 1618)

Kerajaan Pajang yaitu kerajaan Islam di Jawa Tengah yang menjadi kelanjutan dari Kerajaan Demak. Selepas janjkematian Sultan Trenggana, kerajaan Demak kemudian runtuh. Daerah-daerah kekuasannya melepaskan diri dan membangun kerajaannya sendiri, termasuk kesultanan Pajang ini. Sekarang, kita masih sanggup menemukan bukti keberadaan kesultanan Pajang di masa silam. Reruntuhan dan pondasi keratonnya masih tersisa dan sanggup kita lihat di kelurahan Pajang, Kota Surakarta.

5. Kesultanan Mataram (1586 - 1755)

Kesultanan Mataram yaitu kerajaan Islam di Jawa yang berdiri pada selesai kala ke-15. Raja pertamanya yaitu Sutawijaya, putra Ki Ageng Pemanahan. Pada masa keemasannya, Kerajaan Mataram pernah menyatukan tanah Jawa. Kerajaan yang berbasis pada pertanian ini juga pernah memerangi VOC di Batavia. Beberapa peninggalan yang masih sanggup kita jumpai sampai kini antara lain adanya kampung Matraman di Jakarta, penggunaan hanacaraka dalam bahasa Sunda, sistem persawahan di Pantai Utara Jawa, politik feodal, dan beberapa batas wilayah manajemen yang sampai kini masih berlaku.

6. Kasultanan Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat dan Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat (1755-sekarang)

Selain 5 kerajaan di atas, ternyata masih ada 2 kerajaan Islam di Jawa yang sampai kini masih eksis. Kedua kerajaan tersebut yaitu Kasultanan Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat dan  Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. Kedua kerajaan ini merupakan belahan dari kerajaan Mataram Islam yang bubar jawaban perebutan kekuasaan. Melalui perjanjian Giyanti pada tanggal 13 Februari 1755, Mataram resmi dipecah menjadi 2 sampai kini.
